From the sound of it, they're still trying to make it Oshkosh this summer.

Hell yeah! I can't wait to see Doc and Fifi flying in formation!

I know, I'm so hoping they're both at Oshkosh.

Is someone restoring one?

They have two airworthy already. One in BC, and the other in Virginia, of all places. I think Britain is trying to restore one to flightworthy condition.

Didn't know that. I'm surprised that either of them haven't been at Oshkosh in recent years (at least as far as I can recall). I've seen the one EAA has in their museum a number of times, but I'd love to see one fly.

I saw the Mosquito that was restored in Vancouver BC at Abbotsford last August. One of the crew told us they had to scramble to make Abbotsford so they probably were too late to make Oshkosh. btw; it's absolutely gorgeous. With no rivets it looks like a sleek composite airplane.
